I lead a busy life caring for my son while participating in my hobbies such as marathon running and martial arts.
In the alphabet my name is spelled Munkhbayar Bayanbat. I am based in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where I manage a language school and accept contract work for interpretation, translation, corporate research and market research projects. I actively pursue and receive work online as a freelancer
I previously worked in the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia as well as for a local government entity. However, my parents strongly urged me to return home so 3 years ago I returned to Mongolia.
After returning to Mongolia I decided to stay at home until my child had adapted to school life and while looking for online work from home I came across a company called Workshift. It was a great fit for me and the timing was right!
Happily, I feel that my communication with clients on Workshift are smooth, the website is easy to use, response from both clients and Customer Support is prompt which creates mutual trust and confidence in each other and leads to a very comfortable experience for me as a user. Moreover, the evaluation system provides a good source of reference for me when I am applying for new jobs.
Unlike in Japan, in the city of Ulaanbaatar parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their school children. In addition, my sister tends to be sick often so I lead a busy life caring for her while trying to participate in my hobbies such as marathon running and Iaido – a kind of Japanese martial art. To support my busy lifestyle I have chosen an online freelance career, which I thoroughly enjoy. The joy of freelancing is that each job is different and brings to you a wide variety of challenges and new experience.
With multiple sources of work to fulfill, a family and child that I need to spend time with, as well as having some time for myself, I need to control my schedule wisely and effectively.
In order to execute this busy schedule I always set a time window to focus on work, putting priority on deadlines and the content of the jobs. Whenever I accept an online job I always take into consideration the possibility of someone in my family becoming ill so I automatically add 1 or 2 extra days margin of error to complete the job on schedule. If I plan this extra margin of time into the project my mind will also have an extra margin of space to relax and then I can exert my best effort toward completing the job!
