Translation of Product Description for EC site (from Japanese to English)

We are looking for the translators in a quantity for our large in-house Translation Project. This page will be used as the selection of those translators in further Translation project at our company.

For applying, please translate 5 items indicated in Excel File attached to this project page and send it back to us. Confirmation message of qualification as a translator will be sent from our staff after the translated file is checked.

We are looking forward to the long term dealing with high quality translators!

[Project Settings]
This project will be done as a team by several translators. After you have qualified as the translator, we will be asking for your schedule before setting the project for you. After we have confirmed that you can handle the translation, the translation files will be distributed.

[Price Settings & Text Amounts]
The price for each translation is calculated based on the amount of Japanese characters within distributed file. The price will be fixed as 1 Japanese character=1.5 JPY (approx.0.15 USD).

Text amount will be depending on which and what kind of items you will be transalting. Each The average amount will be about 100~300 characters for each product, and about 1000 characters for descriptive item.

Therefore the price setting for each project will be approx. 5000 JPY, up to about 10000 JPY.

However, we are looking for long term dealing as we have mentioned before. Dealing terms will be reconsidered then.

[Delivery Date]
We are requiring for translation quality as well as the speed, so we will be asking you to complete the translation within approx. 3~5 business days.

[Regulations for translations]
1. We strictly prohibit copy-and-paste from other sites, books or produced results from auto-translators.
2.After the submission your translated product, those copyrights will be abandoned.
3.We will be rechecking the translated product to correct/modify the terms if needed.
4.The amount of translating text may differ due to its nature as informative description.
5.You may need to research/understand technical terms for specific areas to translate (e.g. Proper nouns such as character appearing in the movie, or nutrition of foods)

[Flow after application]
1.After qualification as an translator, we will be sending you a direct message to ask the schedule.
2.After the schedule is fixed, we will send you the translating file.
3.Please upload or send the translated file.
4.As soon as checking of the file is done, we will be moving onto payment flow.

Holidays are Sat, Sun, and public holidays.
