My responsibilities at Cita Hati Christian High School include:
1. Training new IGCSE and IB science (Chemistry) teachers and helping them to be familiar with the syllabi and the types of assessments they must give the students, sharing online, CDs and book resources, showing them how to use online facilities such as ManageBac, IBIS (International Baccalaureate Information System), OCC (Online Curriculum Centre) of IBO, and Teachers Support of CEI.
2. Enlisting student names and data required for exam registrations and registering them.
3. Providing student examination cards and documentations needed for international examinations.
4. Developing teaching aids and methods that are appropriate to students’ learning abilities.
5. Implementing daily unit and lesson plans, administer forms of assessments that covers different aspects of student skills and knowledge.
6. Assessing students work based on IGCSE and IB exam question types by using mark schemes provided by respective institutions.
7. Assigning and assessing student practical works based on IGCSE and IB syllabi, and sending in Internal Assessment marks to be moderated by IB moderator.
8. Supervising IB students Extended Essays in Chemistry and ESS.
9. Encouraging and supervising students for national and international science (Chemistry) competitions.
10. Developing a curriculum and lesson plans for Mandarin class for grades 7 to 9 and teach based on the lesson plans developed.
