EXPERIENCES
30 year work history with TDK Corporation (TDK Corporation, Tokyo; TDK U.S.A. Corporation, NY; TDK Corporation of America, Chicago).
Management responsibilities ranged from sales, strategic product marketing, business strategy and administration, and culminated in the directorship of corporate communications for TDK U.S.A. Corporation where I developed and advanced the message of TDK as world technology leader in the rapidly evolving world of internet of everything.
At TDK, including two separate stints working in Japan at TDK Corporation, I gained a unique perspective on effective management and communication styles in U.S. and Japanese business cultures.
PERSONAL/EDCUATION
Bilingual in English and Japanese.
B.A. University of Wisconsin-Madison, majored in East Asian Languages and Literature.
MBA in International Management from University of Dallas in Irving, Texas.
Reside in Evanston, Illinois with my family.
Enjoy traveling and playing drums/percussion with creative musicians around the world.
Also enjoy volunteer work with Chicago Japanese Club, Chicago Botanic Garden, and Japanese Language Proficiency Test, among others.
