Responsible with the department's team leadership, full operation and success in achieving the cruise-to-cruise revenue and guest’s satisfaction through well-defined strategies and outstanding service delivery in accordance to company policies and procedures. Enthusiastically engages in regular promotional activities including port talks, tour presentations, and onboard TV appearances. Ensures all Shore Excursions Staff maintains thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all tour programs; provides training on sales techniques and policies. Collaborates creatively and effectively with other revenue department to promote shore excursions. Ensures tours are dispatched efficiently; carefully monitors status of tours returning to the ship and immediately notifies the Bridge, Hotel Director and concerned personnel of any problems or delays. Communicates with the tour operators in a timely manner to notify tour counts, requests, and all other pertinent information.

Assisting the Shore Excursion Manager in leading a team to administer and deliver an onboard Shore Excursion operation. Supports, guides, and motivates Tour staff and continually monitors Tour staff to ensure excellent service is provided. Ensures tour prices and information are promptly and accurately entered into the system. Communicates clearly with Shore Operations to swiftly relay all information pertinent to the cruise, including any tour logistics, excursion-related incidents, accidents, or issues that may affect passenger satisfaction or revenue and operation.
