I joined Tiger Sangyo Co., Ltd. after graduating from university and worked there for about 11 years doing translation and quality assurance. As a quality assurance manager, I regularly traveled to factories (both company and supplier) in China to ensure quality requirements were being met, which leveraged my Chinese and Japanese fluency. I also did the formal translation and interpretation of many company documents. In a smaller percentage of my time, I was also engaged in designing and drafting a variety of building materials and creating related specification documents.
