I have been working since 1991 in power sectors. In my various assignments as Engineer trainee to Operation in-charge of power plant I have had exposure to operation and maintenance of coal and gas based power plants, preparing MIS report & annual report for departmental presentations, preparing production budget, writing standard operating procedures (SOP) for the plant as per ISO standard, energy conservation measures & system modifications to improve plant efficiency and knowledge of power purchase agreement (PPA). Also I deal with various external agencies for material procurement and power trading through state grid & liaise with variety of stakeholders including ministers and other high level government officials.

My current responsibility includes power generation as per the target, review of day to day plant performance & troubleshooting, Health, safety and environment (SHE), employees’ appraisal and recommendations for promotion and dealing with various statutory and regulatory authorities.
