Under Soetrisno Translation, I have been given big projects in translating advertisements, internal circulars, legal documents and business proposals for major Japanese manufacturers, department stores and individual clients.
The load of the project varies and in general, I can translate 900 Japanese characters into English or Malay in 45 minutes.

I conducted online research and translated materials from Malay to Japanese for a Japanese broadcasting channel in one of their many news program. At times, I was required to call their leads and conduct phone interviews.

Fresco Co. Ltd. is a seafood importer and exporter and I started off as a freelance internal Malay language instructor for the president of Fresco Co. Ltd. Later on, I was required to translate their marketing materials, articles, online content and other documents from Japanese to English or Malay and vice versa.

The University of Tokyo

Under the Monbukagakusho Undergraduate Scholarship, I was given the opportunity to pursue my tertiary education in Japan. I have a bachelor's degree from the Department of Education of the University of Tokyo. My major was School Education and under the guidance of Professor Sato Manabu, I wrote my graduation thesis on the use and benefits of a national language in a national education system by comparing Japan's and Malaysia's educational systems.
Tokyo University of Foreign Studies
2004/04～ 2005/03
Under the Monbukagukusho Undergraduate scholarship, I was given the opportunity to pursue my tertiary education in Japan. Before starting my undergraduate program in the University of Tokyo, I was sent to Tokyo University of Foreign Studies' Japanese Language Centre to learn and master the Japanese language.
