Achievements
1. Secured two research grants from Grand challenges Canada , Star in Global Health Project focusing on
a. Developing a multitasking fuel efficient stove and impact assessment of the stoves on vulnerable communities
b. -Reduce Incidences of child mortality due to water-borne diseases and increase access to clean water

a. Solar Water sanitizer / water storage tank with a capacity of sanitizing and storing 5 liters of water . (2016)

c. Transforming renewable energy synergies (TREES) project building energy synergies on grassroots. 2015
3. Capacity enhancement of community based women and youth led social enterprises on social entrepreneurship, gender inclusivity and environmental care In Kiambu / Kilifi , Kitui and Nairobi
4. Linking CITC Thika and Nairobi (youth vocational technical institutes) with donors and offering opportunities for apprentice and internship for technical graduates from mid-level colleges. Funding Kshs 1. 5 million and training's in Uganda / Tanzania valued at Ksh 1 million. 2014/2015
Achievements:

ENSO IMPACT/LIVING EARTH

lead the work of Living Earth under the Rainforest Alliance project entitled “Empowering Rural Communities and Households in Kenya with Renewable Energy”, in close coordination with Rainforest Alliance’s partners in the project.
• Facilitated the establishment the organization secretariat, staff and clean energy entrepreneur’s recruitment.
• Spearheaded the use of biomass briquettes in tea factories, as well as alternative and efficient biomass fuels and cook stoves across a section of the tea growing landscape.
• Developed models for promoting distribution of energy access products such as solar lanterns through community-run energy enterprises. Ensuring project progresses smoothly and successfully, on time and on budget.
• Facilitated development of an experimental center , ensured activities were implemented in order to achievement of technical milestones and delivery of social impact

BOMA PROJECT

The primary source of technical support for selected partners of the BOMA Project who have an interest in implementing BOMA’s poverty graduation program, REAP in areas or countries where the BOMA Project does not operate. Technical support to BOMA Project REAP and BRAC program and Training Department
• Facilitated the replication of the REAP (Rural Enterprise Access program) in partner INGOs (Mercy Corps) which resulted in establishment of 240 women enterprises in Turkana and Lodwar. This resulted in expansion of the project to 520 business groups.
• Facilitated Technology and Software advice including: - Provided data collection (Taro works) and data management platform (customized Sales force architecture) for the provision of real time monitoring and impact data by partners. Provided Program/Field Officers with access to the Sales force software program to facilitate real-time monitoring of mentors and participants
• Trained and Provided technical assistance in performing the steps of REAP internally and among other INGOs
• Facilitated Community Entry and Targeting, Mentoring, Training and Coaching, Provided support in disbursement of Cash Grants, Savings and Access to Credit, Financial inclusion and linkages Training and Materials for Mercy Corps Staff and Reports writing
• Supervised and mentored the Training Manager and offering oversight to the department in BOMA
• Oversaw Budgeting and financial controls for partner’s projects

• Designed a church based advocacy program , recruited staff and secured funding from Samaritan purse UK
• Facilitated designing of Participatory monitoring tools that were utilized by FBOs in Kibera, Kawangware and Korogocho for monitoring and reporting purposes for 25 FBOs.
• Led the development and testing of Livelihoods lens manual for Kenyan team , training partners and vulnerable groups
• Oversaw successful establishment of 25 sustainable livelihoods projects in Kibera , Kawangware and Korogocho slums for partner FBOs
• Reorganized the program and secured scholarships for 3 staffs to advance education focusing on project needs.

Established counselling program focusing on street children and those in government juvenile facilities for the project
• Organized a multi stakeholders training for government Nairobi region street rehabilitation project and CSOs projects targeting OVC and youths in slums, streets, technical and government juvenile institutions.
• Facilitated scripting and directing of shooting of a documentary on Nairobi streets focusing on street children sexual and reproductive health
• Coordinated HIV testing of street children , referrals’ and established support system for them
• Facilitate circumcision of street children and follow ups on street.
• Part of a team that conducted an intensive research on Nairobi Street to establish the dynamics and recommendation for Health and HIV and AIDS intervention’s targeting young and old street children.
