I was the only full-time foreign staff among 13000 employees in Japan. I worked in the PR Division of the Corporate Planning Office (経営企画部広報課). My job included helping to prepare all English language publications, and planning and carrying out overseas PR projects. I also worked in investor relations, both on the document preparation side and in meeting with foreign investors/fund managers.

My work included translation, interpreting (including 3-way English/French/Japanese), writing (for magazines such as Computing Japan and the ACCJ Journal), and editing.
