Horrible experience!! As mentioned in the job details (https://workshift-sol.com/jobs/view/9526), they posted that they want an interview meeting via Zoom or face to face at the office for around 30mins- 60mins only.
I met with their two staff and the CEO. The CEO led the meeting. It is unfortuante that the CEO can't even write a single sentence in English without making grammatical mistakes. His written communication is not clear and I have a huge doubt his consulting company serves it clientele. They soleley depended on $75 gig to submit research insights to its client. I think it is unethical. If he has politely requested to reiterate the findings or redo the research, I would happily do that. But by the way he belittled my work, I felt very bad.
I went to their office and we had a meeting for over an hour where I delivered key insights of Thai hospital and medical industry. The client, however, asked me to do further research work which is not mentioned in the job posting. The effective compensation was $70 only. I delivered my research findings on Monday as they requested in which I spent multiple hours.
However, the client got erratic and sent a belittling review of my work. As the job posting doesn't mention about any research work, I had reluctantly agreed to deliver his request. I resubmitted revised research work later.
BE WARNED: This recruiter a small consulting company based in Bangkok that is grossly understaffed. They completely depend upon a freelancer's work to deliver their clients' needs, thereby defrauding its clients. Please do due diligence!
