Professional Experience
I have been working as a freelance interpreter/translator over 10 years in Australia.
I am accredited by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) and currently work as a medical interpreter for a Japanese medical centre, up to 25 hours per week, interpreting and translating in-house and at hospitals and specialists' rooms.
My main translation clients include government tourism bureau, government community services, major airlines and entertainment agencies.
I am also the only one commonwealth registered Japanese civil marriage celebrant in Australia and a MC.
I am authorised by the Attorney General's Department to legally marry couples in Australia and currently performing about 15 wedding ceremonies annually, plus MC assignments for personal or corporate functions.
Many of my ceremonies are performed bilingually. I consult and create individual scripts for all assignments and I have a great creative writing skills in both languages.
