A native English speaker, professional editor, and translator with five years experience living and working in Japan. I have proofread everything from book manuscripts to technical documents as a freelancer, as well as edited translated text for recipes and other materials. My translation work has covered everything from hotel booking websites (jalan.net) to cooking classes (www.abc-cooking.co.jp), as well as a large variety of smaller, one-time projects.

Currently, I work as a freelance translator with the Baobab network, which handles not only pure translation, but also editing and proofreading of translated text. My range of experience also extends to work done with schools, municipal offices, individuals, events, and more, so no matter the context, I can convey meaning to the target audience.

My greatest passions are helping others bring out their inner voice to represent themselves, their projects, and their stories as best they can in writing in any language.
