Professional Experience
Born in Kazakhstan, raised in Canada. BA in Economics with Minor in Japanese. Volunteered as a TA for beginner, intermediate and advaneed Japanese courses. Worked as a personal assistant to GM in a Japanese company operating in Kazakhstan during which regularly performed as an interpreter and translator (Japanese-English-Japanese, Japanese-Russian-Japanese). Participated in EXPO 2015 in Milan, Italy as part of the Kazakhstan Pavilion where often played role of the representative interpreter during media covering and official visits.
Having lived in Kazakhstan, Canada, the United States of America and Italy for extended periods of time and having worked mainly in Japanese-operated companies allowed me to broaden my professional and personal outlook on my work as a translator and interpreter.
