I am a native US English speaker with excellent composition skills and over four years' professional translation experience. I studied Chinese Language and Culture at Inner Mongolia University in China for two years, I also learned Japanese while living and working in Tokyo, and I hold the highest level qualifications in both of those languages (HSK level 6, and JLPT level N1).
I translate user manuals and other technical texts, scientific texts, business reports and presentations, as well as more marketing-oriented texts for hotels and restaurants.
My goal is to give you something that's clear, accurate, and easy to read. I believe a translation has to be as good as, and can indeed be better than, the original. I take pleasure in learning more about your field and I know it's always better to do more rather than less background research. My job isn't finished until you have a translation that meets or exceeds your expectations.
