I am a hard-working and reliable master graduate of japanology with experience in translating/interpreting, research, networking/sourcing and preparing stories as news stringer. I am a quick learner who can communicate clearly and effectively with people from all social and professional backgrounds.
My degree course involved a great deal of translating and research skills, requiring an understanding of the respective cultural background. I am completely fluent and familiar with modern slang, colloquial and technical terms in Japanese, English and German, received high distinction in all my language courses, and successfully passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2, presently preparing for Level 1.
I have excellent interpersonal skills, a broad knowledge of Japanese culture and society, and a great interest in intercultural communication. I am a responsible person, who enjoys working in a team as well as autonomously, always eager to learn and improve.
