I am an experienced researcher and author who has held positions in Germany, the USA, and the UK. I currently work as a proofreader and copy-editor, while teaching Business and Academic English to adults. I hold a doctorate in the field of History and have published widely on topics such as food security, nutritional security, land-grabbing, and human rights. Furthermore, I currently proofread and copy-edit academic texts for German universities. I, therefore, am entirely comfortable in proofreading documents from a wide variety of fields and have in-depth knowledge of several style guides. In addition, my experience as a teacher of Business and Academic English means I have an excellent command of English mechanics, punctuation, and grammar.
