I graduated in 2017 from SOAS, University of London with First Class Honours in Korean (with a minor in Japanese). I wrote a 10,000 word thesis on the topic "How have North Korea's diplomatic relations with Russia changed in the Post-Soviet period?", for which I received a 1st, and have extensive experience in editing academic papers for my classmates and acquaintances. I took classes on translation of literature from Korean into English, and worked for two months in Busan as a translator and waitress at a Korean restaurant, where I translated publicity materials and edited the English menu. I also worked in Logistics for NBCUniversal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, where I was often called on to translate. Finally, I have experience of transcription, as I worked for a few months as a transcriber for Bethel Global Media Contents, based in Seoul, where I transcribed English language television series, ready for subtitling.
