The Workshift Message Function can be engaged by clicking on the “Send Message” button located directly below the freelancer’s photo. This allows you to send a message directly to the freelancer. Concrete details about a job, price negotiations, the freelancer’s response time and abilities can be measured via real communications. The Message Function is ideal for communicating with a freelancer who has applied for a job that you posted after you have checked the freelancer’s profile page and need to ask some follow-up questions before hiring. Contacting potential freelancers by mail is also a good way of narrowing the pool of potential applicants by skill and country of residence.

Product delivery and inspection are steps that generally need to be done within the Workshift website but if there are alternative needs please contact Workshift for confirmation. It is prohibited to pay or compensate freelancers or receive goods outside of the Workshift structure (See Section 14 article 8 and Section 18 article 17 of the Terms of Agreement for prohibited actions). Violations can lead to suspension and or banning of your membership on Workshift as well as possible fines.
