We are a Japanese maker of air cleaners and humidifiers. In order to expand our business in Europe we will display our products at a booth at the German Trade Show (IFA 2016). As such we would like to draw up a list of distributor candidates in Europe and invite those candidates to visit our booth at IFA 2016 for a face-to-face meeting. We prefer freelancers with some knowledge of the home electronics market in Europe. At the same time we are also looking to hire someone to attend the trade show and explain our products to visitors. IFA is held in Berlin and it is the largest electronics and home appliance trade show in Europe. It started in 1924 and has a history of over 90 years. The job is divided into 3 steps described below. When applying for this job please indicate which step 1), 2), or 3) that you are applying for: 1) and 2), or 1), 2) and 3) or 3) only.


1) List up distributor candidates

●Compensation: ¥1,500/company (negotiable)
●target countries:
Main: France, Germany and England.
Secondary: Spain, Italy, Holland, Switzerland.
●List up 20 companies from the countries listed above.
Mostly focus on the main target countries but no more than 5 from any one country. When you apply for the job please indicate which countries you can find candidates from.
●Selection standards
>white goods wholesalers and agents that already carry (air cleaners, washing machines, kitchen appliances, beauty appliances, and other large home appliances).
>No conditions regarding size of the candidates but avoid companies that are pure online vendors and those that do not have any of the above mentioned electric appliances. We give high weighting to the quality of the list.
>We like department stores and lifestyle retailers with a solid sales channels.

>Please see the attached Excel file for reference regarding what kinds of distributors (wholesalers) we are targeting.
>Companies with mostly high end products. (Our products are high end so if the company is weak at branding it will be difficult to sell our products). The company must have their own website.
>Please inform us when you add the first candidate name to the list. Only the persons with high quality candidates will be asked to continue to the second candidate. Those with a poor quality candidate will not be asked to continue. Those with a clearly poor quality candidate list will not be paid so only those who are confident they can provide a list of quality companies should apply for this job.Only those with high quality lists will be asked to continue to step 2).
