2010/01～

2010- 2014 I was having a Job in Beijing as LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance Engineer) for PayPal (US Company) and Nokia doing localization and proofreading for them. Meanwhile I was still teaching one on one and small groups in English.
I am also still doing translations for different Software companies and translations.
Since Aug 2014 I work as full time English teacher for adults and teenagers in a private school in Xiamen, China, and I also spend many hours doing translations.in 2016 I translated around 300,000 words about Medicine and medical instrumental, and Bio Chemistry, 500,000 words about mechanics and Physics, mostly German to Spanish and 25% of English to Spanish. Some other translations were about different products for automobiles.

2005/01～

Since I came to China (2005) I have also been working as Language expert for MICROSOFT in Beijing. Doing Proofreading and also Translations from English, German or French into Spanish for different Companies in China such as Worksoft, Lingua, Kingstar , Transn, Toptranslations, Impala…mostly doing translations for medical and biological products, also many software and IT related translations, mechanics related translations, Marketing, Ads, Tourism and different user manuals.
Teaching English, Spanish, German and French (as part time on line job between 500.000 to 1M words/year)

2007-2009 I participated as Development Manager and Marketing Manager for INTERCON-Flourishing, a Language and Culture Centre in Beijing during 3 years, working as English teacher for small classes and tutoring, and Corporate English also Spanish, German French and cooking teacher (My hobby).

1999-2005: EURASIANTOUR- Travel Agency- GM- Malaga(Spain)
I had my own inbound Travel Agency in Spain (Eurasiantour)-as GM, but currently I remain as shareholder and contact point for some customers only since I’m in Bejing (China).

2000- 2004: PROCOTEL- Development Manager, AHRA- Intl. Sales Manager
I helped to manage and develop the international Market for a friends Hotel Commercial Chain (Procotel) with 10 Hotels and Apartments.

1999: Regional Manager of the Travel Agency “Viajes Sidetours” in Málaga.
Opening of the Office, recruitment and preparation for the first ground operations 2 month later .
Duties, as Regional GM with a team of 15 employees, Project Manager, Account Controler, Marketing, PR with our Tour- operators, and as “Decision Maker” in general terms, etc.

1998-1999: OPENTOURS Travel –Intl. Sales Manager in Torremolinos/Malaga(Spain)

1990-1998: Front Office Manager/Sub Director/Indoor Manager of Apart-Hotel Aguamarina & Spa (Group MS) in Torremolinos (Málaga-Spain).

1989-1990: Assistant Sales -Manager of SOL MELIA -Hotels (MELIA GROUP) on the “Costa del Sol” Resort/Spain
Management of 15 Hotels in our area (6.000 rooms to be occupied every day), assisting and promoting in International Fairs, representing the Hotel Group, attending the promotional and the relation with the medias, organizing Events and Meetings, and promoting our Hotels in different languages and in different countries.

1982-1989: Travel Agency “Viajes Ultramar Express” in Torremolinos, Spain ,(TUI SPAIN)
In different departments(starting with the Booking Department taking care of German and French Touroperators ).
During my spare time I also worked as Guide and as representative of different Tour-operators , visiting their clients as Customer Service rep.
During Summertime I used to work in the branch office of TUI in London (England) in the Marketing Department of TUI UK doing the preparation of the season-brochure and the catalogues of the company related to all Spain, in charge of the Promotion Department, relations with Medias, promotion to clients and website-design and its promotion, and supervising and coordinating all the different works from my colleagues in the department related to Spain. At the same time I practiced my English.

1981-1982: Department of Bookings in Voyages Wirtz in Antwerpen (Bélgium)
In charge of “ticketing and counter service“, and relation to our customers in Dutch, English, French and German
languages. I went to Belgium to learn and practice Dutch and improve my French

1977-1978 : Stock Manager and Source Manager & Coordinateur in Laboratoire Botánique de Domaine Poulain, La Queue lez Yvelines (France).
My first job combining practicing the language, learning and some responsibilities where I started in the Tech area and then took over the Store area and coordinated deliveries with our foreign providers. I also was helping and learning in the Botanic Lab and in my spare time I acted as freelance Translator for Biologic products from German into French and English into French. Helping and organizing a team of 10 persons, even I was the youngest one.

AT THE SAME TIME:
1981-1982 Translator freelance for Universities in Spain, related to Biology, Medicine, Literature and Philosophy.

1995 to 2000 I have been teaching English, Spanish, German and French in Malaga SI school of Languages in Malaga(Spain)

1982-today I have worked mainly in Travel Agencies, Hotels and as freelance translator
In Spain, Germany, France and China. I specialized in translations from English, German and French into Spanish
