Junar Merla is currently connected with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bukidnon Provincial Office as Senior, Trade and Industry Development Specialist (STIDS). He is also one of the Business Development Service (BDS) providers trained in Bukidnon of Component 3, Access to Credit, of the Advancing Philippine Competitiveness (COMPETE) project, funded by the US Government through USAID and implemented by The Asia Foundation.
Mr. Merla has more than sixteen years of experience as business counsellor of DTI. He handles various major programs and projects of their office such as the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Program, Local & Regional Economic Development (LRED) Project, Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Program, and Investment Promotion Program.
