- Check if the document has the correct title page, copyright page, ISBN, job number, publication number and volume information
- Create a job-specific folder, locate and copy the files provided by the editor, and ensure they match the final proof checklist
- If the document has bleed bars, check their color, their positions and text
- Fix all corrections and bad breaks, check pagination and the presence of index
- Check if all running heads and running head corners are correct and if there are bad breaks left
- If the document has Table of Contents, check if the text and content match with the page numbers
- Print three versions of the document, complete all the required files for release, ensure that the final files are in order and create a WinZip file
