Teacher, Faculty Coordinator
1984/01～ 2013/12
As a teacher I directly instructed students ranging from age 11 to 20. I have successfully sustained a subject with over 40 students choosing that subject in yrs 9 and 10 and classes of over 15 in yrs 11 and 12 including a 3 unit course, for 28 years. Students in yr 9 in Australia are generally 15 years of age.
As a subject coordinator within the high school I assist and train other new staff members, overseeing coursework, programs and pedagogy.
In the past I have held Head Teacher Administration positions involving management of staff attendance, examination timetables and casual staff.
In terms of Film and Design I have been instructing both students and staff across the school in Photoshop CS5, Final Cut X, and Motion.
