Director of Digital Product Management – Online Marketplace

Lead the strategy and implementation of Expo 2020 Dubai’s business-to-business digital platform. Involves engaging and integrating SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), supporting Expo’s 20% procurement target for such businesses, as well as leading the digital transformation of Expo 2020 procurement & contracts department.
Achievements:
Successful launch and roll-out the Online Marketplace and migrated the complete Procurement operations of EXPO Dubai 2020 on OMP.
Successful sunset of the legacy procurement portal including the migration of suppliers.
Successful creation of new digital workflow for all internal approval, moved from paper approval to digital approval.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy and implementation of the B2B online marketplace for Expo 2020 Dubai.
Lead the strategy of digital transformation of the Expo 2020 Procurement & Contracts department.
Lead and execute Support Expo's 20% procurement target for SMEs.

Thomson Reuters (Dubai, UAE)
Head of Product Proposition, Small & Medium Business - MENA

Lead the proposition for SMEs in the Middle East and North Africa, by defining and creating the digital strategy and proposition to develop a new digital product called Thomson Reuters Accelerate SME and upgrading/launching another legacy product called Thomson Reuters Business Development.
Achievements:
Quickest go-to-market of a digital proposition in Thomson Reuters globally.
Successful launch and roll-out of 5 country editions in 2 languages with strategic partners which helped grow revenue by 633% in Y2 compared to Y1.
Y-o-Y increase of visitors by 200%, conversions by 125%, and organic traffic by 85%.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Built the $5M global investment case for the SME platform proposition by sizing and segmentation of the SME market across MENA, mapping the stakeholder landscape, defining monetization streams and roll-out plan.
Led the design, build, and implement stages of both products by collaborating with teams from multiple company-wide divisions such as technology, finance, and compliance.
Managed the profit & loss (P&L) for both products, as well as their go-to market activities; delivered on revenues for both products.
Created and grew new revenue channels, along with pipeline management.
Led a cross functional team of 8 FTEs (full time employees) comprised of front line, product managers, and a program manager.
Thomson Reuters (Beirut, Lebanon)
Head of Content & Customer Support - Zawya

Led the content operations through multiple channels, including five in-house teams, a contribution channel, and third-party vendors. Led Zawya’s content integration into Thomson Reuters’ databases after Zawya was acquired by Thomson Reuters in June 2012.
Achievements:
Increased the MENA content coverage by 70% by partnering with different content suppliers and vendors focusing mainly on two content sets - 47% increase in the private company database and 100% increase in coverage in the construction projects database.
Increased team productivity by 50% and reduced employee turnover by 40%.
Key Responsibilities:
Led the content operations of Zawya through 4 different channels: (1) five in-house teams with a total of 90 people, (2) contribution channel, (3) third party vendors and (4) Hub & Spoke.
Led the content and research operations of Zawya’s flagship products: the Corporate Monitor, which provides profiles for the top 30,000 companies and 110,000 executives in the MENA region and the Projects Monitor which provide profiles of over 3,000-mega construction projects in the MENA region, the Equity Capital Markets Team which cover all the publicly listed companies in the MENA region and the Investment Monitor Team, which covers all the financial transactions and deals in MENA.
Led a team of Customer Support & Content Support at Zawya, catering to approximately 3,332 users from 1,275 institutional accounts across 6 product offerings.
