• Lead on all strategic and operational aspects of the development of RACHA’s services in Myanmar.
• Identify and apply for potential grants and other funding sources to finance the establishment and development of services in Myanmar.
• Manage and direct RACHA’s Savings for Change, microcredit and associated health activities effectively and efficiently in the coverage area.
• Maintain, liaise with the Myanmar government, Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association, CSOs, NGOs, and donor and development partners so as to promote RACHA’s work and its profile in the country
• Lead recruitment of and line manage local staff needed for the Myanmar operation.
• Work with RACHA’s Senior Management Team and advisors regarding the development in Myanmar, and broader RACHA developments.
• Support the establishment of effective systems for facilitation, coordination, and management of services between head office in Cambodia and the Myanmar projects.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local microfinance and health institutions – including NGOs and the public and private sector – that will support RACHA’s work in Myanmar.
• Ensure continued collaborative and goodwill relationship with the Myanmar government to secure the renewal of RACHA’s existing MoU.
