As a National Technical Officer, HIV and Viral Hepatitis team, Myanmar Country Office, WHO, I am responsible for the technical assistant to National programmes in HIV prevention, overall viral hepatitis response and TB/HIV collaboration activities in Myanmar.

• Supervised and monitored existing TB diagnosis activities, provided DOTS, care and support, and patient tracing/follow‐up activities in 7 townships of Mon State conducted by IOM Outreach Health Workers
• Developed annual work plan compromising budget and monitoring of activities and achievement in line with work plan and financial targets
• Oversaw IOM’s home-based care activity, monitoring adherence and follow up, infection control and psycho-social counselling to TB and MDRTB patients through IOM volunteers
• Developed and facilitated regular capacity building of outreach health workers and community volunteers

• Provided clinical care to people living with HIV (PLHIV)
• Provided education and counseling to PLHIV, tuberculosis/ multi-drug resistant (TB/MDRTB) and sexually transmitted infection (STI) patients
• Delivered Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) to PLHIV patients and treating Opportunistic Infections (OI)
• Provided medical care for pregnant PLHIV patients
• Case finding of TB/MDRTB patients, screening and chest X-ray reading
• Administered anti-TB treatment/ MDRTB treatment and follow-up for TB &MDRTB patients
