Technical Assistant for Job Enabling English Proficiency Project

The JEEP Project is an initiative being implemented by USAID’s Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) Program. JEEP is intended to assist college or university students to acquire sufficient proficiency in English to compete effectively for jobs in high demand sectors.

• Assisting teachers to adopt communicative language teaching pedagogy when using the JEEP
Accelerate Cambridge and Oxford books and CDs
• Reviewing the proposed sub-projects and ensuring such projects are consistent with the approved
annual work plans
• Facilitating and organizing meetings/visits/monitoring requested by GEM and USAID and/or
School Senior Management
• Assisting the manager in conducting meeting that are done with many other departments
• Monitoring the overall implementation of the JEEP program in colleges and universities
