Responsibilities
 Managing day to day maintenance activities in Filled Polymer Processing Plant (FPP1 & FPP2).
 Applying predictive and preventive maintenance.
 Identifying the cause of machine failure or poor performance and taking corrective action. Among the machines are twin screw extruders, pelletizers, screw feeder, screw conveyor, rotary valves, pumps and blowers.
 Prepare, justify, obtain sanction and manage annual budget for plant daily, special & annual shutdown maintenance
 Controlling and maintaining machine spares.
 Supervise foreman, technicians and a group of in-house contractors.
 Management of in-house contractors (35P) for FPP production line cleaning works.
 Annual shutdown activities such as working specification, planning, budget, spare parts and manpower arrangement.
 Internal auditor for OHSAS 18001 and EMS
 Developing new processes and method to improve maintenance method and standard
 Training for foreman, technician and contractors.
 Modification of plant equipment and piping to improve productivity and quality under capital expenditure projects.
 Involve in TPM study for FPP plant Extruder
 Window person for any communication with Japan plant and Japanese vendors regarding maintenance and engineering.
 Preparing in-house contractor agreement
