Extensively worked on financial modelling, investment analysis, due diligence and legal documentation.
Analyzed multiple deals and invested ~USD 85 millions in three deals across telecom, road and real-estate sectors.
The fund exited road and real-estate investments at 20% plus equity IRR.
The telecom O&M company was a venture investment and I had significant involvement in company’s operational and strategic matters. I was appointed as board observer by the fund and worked with the management in forming company’s business plan, operational processes, execution of business strategy and acquiring other O&M players. With our combined efforts the company’s top-line grew from scratch to ~USD 25 million during the four-year period.

Shapoorji Pallonji Family Office

During my ~3 years stint in Shapoorji Pallonji Family office, I have worked on deals across ports, water and solar sectors. I have been involved in the ~USD 100 million deal to acquire majority stake in a port on east coast of India. For this particular deal , I worked on investment analysis, financial modelling, managing due diligence process and completing legal documentation. After our investment we were also involved in project implementation and raising debt for the project. We closed this transaction after analysing multiple ports & port terminals. While working in Shapoorji Pallonji Family Office, I have been exposed to various aspects of infrastructure asset development including deep analysis of under construction & stressed infrastructure assets.
