Undertaking translations for Japanese marshal art, Iai, group in UK. Worked as an interpreter for the Iai–do
international seminar for the past three years and interpreted officially for the occasions for the Japanese visitors. Organised and managed an International Iai conference and seminar in Kobe and worked as a guide and interpreter in November 2015. Since I have been studying at SOAS, I have undertaken the CTS (SOAS Centre for Translation Studies) project to translate University Essex Internationalization training booklets and legal documents for Japanese public prosecutor. Currently translation a play script for Paper smokers, collective of storytellers group.

Under the Japan Foundation London scheme of teaching Japanese language to Key stage 2 children, I
am teaching three primary schools in Lincolnshire. This involves teaching from Year 2 to Year 6 classes at Gedney drove end primary school and Holbeach St Mark’s Primary school once a week each also teaching from Year 3 to Year 6 classes at Sutton Bridge Westmere community primary school for one afternoon. I am also running after school Japanese clubs based on seasonal festival and cultural activities for key stage 2 children at three schools.
