• Develop market research strategies to identify gaps and establish qualitative evaluation reports of business development and investment opportunities in Africa and Mauritius.
• To evaluate trends in industries, conduct data collection activities through surveys, questionnaires and desk research with the aim of evaluating customers and investors preferences - Secure and analyze customer centric data, economic, business, social, geo-political, and legal information (non-financial) to anticipate decision-making relevant to business development projects.
• Meet stakeholders such as government representatives, bankers, analysts, investors and parastatal bodies to discuss potential business developments ventures and the adequate measures and processes for the correct implementation of projects.
• Design comparative and benchmarking reports - Provide research and analysis on market insights, competitors’ products and services, industry trends and threats, competitor’s behavior and performances to provide a global picture of the business environments and markets.
• Assess all possible scenarios in terms of qualitative data to assess how products and services and/or returns on investment in particular markets may be impacted by non-financial aspects while negotiating key information with high management.
• After the assessment of business development opportunities and validation from the Management, generate marketing toolkit such as pitch desks, information documents, economic, social and business profiles to provide valuable information with the aim of attracting and securing prospective clients and investors.
• Provide advisory services and management consultancy services in terms of marketing, market research and business development to African and European start-ups in setting up their businesses in Mauritius and South Africa and provide consultancy services to mature companies wanting to develop and set up new branches in Africa
