Telenor Health AS is a start-up company in digital health service area where I am playing the role from the scratch since my joining. Following responsibilities is a snap-shot of my current role but not limited:
• Ensure for all divisional/departmental recruitment process, e.g. advert job in linkedin and local job portal, shortlisting, screening, interview, salary negotiate, joining etc. Source potential candidate(s), closely work with head hunter(s).
• Assist in conducting Talent Pool meetings and developing Talent Management Strategy for identified Talents/Successors against critical roles.
• Develop and implement HR policy and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Responsible for Compensation & Benefits (C&B) management by timely salary disburse and update salary, employee expense claim, Objective Key Result (OKR) monetary reward, other benefits, income tax deductions, final settlement etc.
• Implementing the training and development agenda to consult with Departmental Head(s); identify areas that need attention aligned with organizational need.
• As a Change Agent, responsible to implementation of appropriate Performance Management System (PMS) throughout the year.
• Coordinate & manage service providers/third party for outsourced employees’ recruitment (as per the requirement of different departments), salary fixation and disbursement, laptop and other gadgets provide
• Create bridge between management and employees to maintain employee relation by addressing need, grievances or others. In addition, ensure appropriate Grievance handling and disciplinary procedure as and when required.
• Different reporting on employee attrition/turnover, headcount, employee absences, outsourced employee status, gender ratio and other reports.
• Responsible to ensure all Full-time employees insurance scheme: Group term, Medical Insurance (OPD & IPD). Ensure medical insurance claimed amount receivable to coordinate with insurance service provider. Provide updated employee info to insurance company (inclusion and exclusion).
• Ensure day to day HR operational activities by addressing the need of various internal customers and stakeholders in regards to HR policy interpretation and enforcement, in other way end-to-end HR support.
• Consults with departmental head on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance.
• Administer OD relevant matters required on time to time basis.
• Orgnaised different in-house program like ‘Health Huddle’ (monthly business review and QA session with CEO), different cultural program like ‘Pohela Boishakh’ (Bengali new year), ‘Pohela Falgun’ (first day of Spring of Bengali month), ‘International Women’s Day’ program, ‘Fire Drill’ for employees with the collaboration of Fire Brigade, health awareness program like ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Session’ for all employee and so on.
• Act as a ‘Mobility Manager’ to address expat employees’ issues including secondment contract, extension of contracts to liaison with Telenor Go (TG), monthly expats reporting to TG, work permits, e-visa for expat and his family, tax (liaison with Deloitte), security, overview housing and vehicle facility, cross country movements and so on. For Telenor Health AS, expats are mainly C level employee. In addition, also responsible for group board members and other stakeholders aspects while they are visiting to Bangladesh.
• Maintain liaison with Telenor Group and grameenphone for ensuring smooth HR services
• Solely responsible for ‘Workday’ (a global ‘Human Capital Management Software)’ for Telenor Health AS. Through this Human Capital Management Software maintain all employees’ information, employee profile, org-structure, salary, report pattern, leave status, reporting, facebook @ work, etc. Closely work with Group GSS (Global Shared Service) (Norway and Pakistan counterpart) for Workday.
• Responsible for special assignment to new office premises, new office setup along with office management which includes administration, office security, logistic support, vendor selection, fleet management, ensure agreement with vendor for comply the group policies and compliance etc.
