Chief Investment Officer
2014/04~
• Establish effective and well-organized investment process through the approved organization Investment policy.
• Submit monthly investment recommendations for various potential Investments alternatives based on research and analysis. Such would include Property investments, equities through stocks, private companies, Joint ventures and partnerships
• Undertake due diligence (legal, Financial and physical) on all investment proposals
• Organize quarterly Investment reports and reviews together with various investment intermediaries working with the organization which contain quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies.
• Align all investments to the guidelines of the approved Investment policy as to investment quarters, portfolio mix ratios and gearing ratios and expected rates of return on segments.
• Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements and remain up to date with any important valuation or policy changes within the organisation
• Identify research and undertake analysis of proposed investment projects in line with marketing demands of the organisation.
• Handle partners and other stakeholders during project implementation process
• Lead mobilization of funds for investment needs of the Society and its subsidiaries
• Lead organizational investment strategy through the investment department
• Facilitate partnerships and training with other Investment Companies, stakeholders and partners in/Out of the country.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support Investment department with all administrative duties

Senior Accountant
2007/01~
Financial Accounting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and support schedules for management and BOD meetings
• Assist the chief Accountant in preparation of the budget for the organization.
• Supervision of treasury activities including petty cash, cash flow projection, bank reconciliations and accounts payables.
• Stocks management and control in line with company stock policy. Review and implement controls pertaining to stocks.
• Recording and maintaining of the fixed asset register.
• Ensure sound procurement processes.
• Prepare monthly accounts under strict reporting dealing.
• Review and analysis the monthly financials with the Chief Accountant.
Auditing/Tax
• Spearhead the audit process and prepare draft accounts in line with IFRS.
• Take an active role in implementing audit recommendations.
• Ensure VAT, PAYE, corporation tax and statutory deductions are remitted on time.
Debtors Section
• Ensure credit policies of the company are adhered to.
• Review credit application and recommend credit worthiness to the Chief Accountant.
• Reconciliation and timely collection of receivables.
• Liaising with the lawyers on difficult accounts that require legal recovery effort.
HR & Administration
• Payroll preparation, controls and reconciliation.
• Carry out interviews for the staff in Finance Department

• Origination of suitable Investment projects for the Society and facilitating due diligence to evaluate legality of the investment.
• Prepare and submit work plans, policies and objectives for consideration and approval by the Board of Directors
• Facilitate preparation and submission budgetary proposals for the Society to the Board for approval.
