• Where I am responsible for doing day to day journal entries and month end journal entries as well as posting to the ledger
• preparing various monthly reports, such as Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash flow statement, quarterly and annual financial reports using the Liberty Systems banking and accounting software
• preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements for various bank accounts
• Preparing monthly payrolls for approval and drafting transfer requests.
• Computing Tax schedules, remittances and pension schedules and remittances
• Drafting other legal financial documents for review such as business contracts.
• Credit management and follow-ups and carrying out other business leads
• Preparing offer letters for loans approved
• Carrying out bank transfers and drafting transfer instructions, writing chaques, bank deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist in drawing business plan for clients with investment potentials.
• Preparing credit approvals for credit committee and assisting clients during their process of loan application.
• Do follow-ups for interest due and unpaid as well as follow ups on loan defaulters.
• Compiling monthly CBN template returns.
• Review of payment proposals list to establish invoices not paid and reasons. Initiate reasons to ensure that such invoices are captured in the next batch payment.
• Processing of staff expenses, allowances, and other claims on prompt payment.
