Script creation for reports and job monitoring under UNIX.
As part of the day by day tasks, I solve issues that we have with production applications and jobs, this include,
network availability validations and fix in case of problems, applications validation, and in case of problems,
diagnosis of the failure and fix or escalation to the proper support team, monitoring of process, DB load/extraction
and restart of some modules of the software for QA ambient, all this requested via a ticket system
Also I participate monitoring Apache and other services for diagnosis or tuning, this include monitor logs, servers
load balance, network traffic and the correct communication with other applications that share information using the
integration platform of the company.
Functional Experience: Support for: TWS 8.51 and 8.6. Control-M, and ESP.
Tools: Unix, Windows, Office, TWS, Control-M, ESP, Pache Web Servers, some basic Oracle and
Scripting.

As primary part of my tasks was install, configure and perform tuning on TWS, Apache/TomCat and Tuxedo for Unix
and Linux Servers, Virtual and Physical
I also work with the PM’s to prepare and get ready the servers with the other specific teams involving on the
configuration and preparation of the servers for QA or Production environments, this include, Network, Security, FS,
VM preparation and monitoring tools like BMC Patrol and others, as requested on a ticket system.
Also, as Tier1/Tier2 support I need to perform specific action to fix problems, like the restart of listeners, validation of
logs to determine the steps to fix the issue and in some cases help the user to validate his indormation (data on the
files)

Unix First level support, in charge of the hardware and OS of the 28 servers of the AVIS application.
Planning and manage of the service plans and maintenance schedule of the contract.
Participation on meetings for the evaluation of the service between the SSP and STC, help to evaluate the new
projects and control of the issues reported on the ticket system.
Troubleshooting of WebSphere Application Server
I was on charge as Technical representative of the company in Mexico of the full servers and applications, this
include the schedule of the maintenance for the servers (HW & SW) with HP, and the administrative procedures to
access the SITE with client, direct support to the user with the application (AVIS), that uses APACHE and TOMCAT
over RH Linux.
This task include, clean FS, monitor network activity/access, validate users and FS, also creation of users, FS and
everything needed to keep the system Up and running according to the contract
We use a ticket system to receive the failure and issues report from the client, I also was on charge of the technical
meetings with the client.

Unix First level support, working to solve the issues related to UNIX in the night shift.
Installation of some applications, as Control-M Agents, Patrol Agents and some other depending of the user
requirements.
Installation of Patch Upgrades and support on infrastructure changes and upgrades.
First response support for Apache, Web Sphere, Changeman, Control-M and other proprietary applications.
My basic tasks include the server’s health monitoring, ticket response for failure report, and alert validation, servers
validation for patch level and patch preparation and application according to the bank standards.
I install and prepare servers in different stages, like some parts of the OS, Apache and IBM products in coordination
with middleware team, and some security validations, also as Infra, we coordinate the user, FS, permissions and
network configuration, before the servers go for hardening tests on Logical Security area.

As operating system responsible of the project, I participate on the design of the solution to migrate the system
required from Mexico to Richardson, TX, this include the new platform, an intermediate communications server and
the transfer solution.
I made the new install of 3 different test servers for the project, in Mexico and the final install of the server’s replica
in Texas.
I also have participation installing and getting ready the control-m scheduler, Samba, mail and other applications
