American cultural language schools: I currently work at Marmaris American Cultural Language School. I teach children, high school students, and adults. In this language school, we follow the European Common Portfolio. Establishing clear objectives for all students. Regularly evaluating each student progress. Giving homework that is meaningful. Marking a students oral and written work. Monitoring a student’s progress during their studies. Experience preparing student’s for official exams-(IELTS-TOEFL). I have been recently translating Turkish to English and English to Turkish. Writing different topic up to 1100 words. Freelance Translator &Writer: Translated excerpts from textbooks. Translated a legal document (will) from Turkish to English for a local attorney. Able to work independently as well.Using the internet as a research tool throughout the translation process. Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation. Using specialist dictionaries, reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words. Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
