I was assigned to work as System Administrator Engineer and the responsibilities include:-
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Perform daily and monthly backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
Provide any support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
Maintain Data Centre environmental and monitoring equipment.
Market and revenues report that contains:
The company’s market share per total of subscribers in daily bases.
Sites’ Contributions in the market share.
PPS Accounts status in daily bases
Report of recharge in daily bases
Revenues generated from a services
Stock information
Monthly report about recharge from E-maal
Monthly manual recharges per request.
Troubleshot high level problems and complaints related to the IN /SMSC.

I moved to China for Business Purposes. During my trip period which is one year and half I have gained a lot of experiences about the global trade and how its accomplished which includes, making quotations and collecting information about the any project, contacting the appropriate supplier and finishing the deal, and after sales support procedures. And also I have experience about the import and export business which is how to deal with the global carriers and shipping agents to facilitate goods delivery into the appropriate locations by the nearest route and cheapest cost.
During this Period I also have worked as Cashier in which the tasks assigned include pity cash management, Keeping Bank Accounts by keeping track of the daily activities of these accounts for one of the Somali service companies in China.

Worked as Oracle Database Administrator at International Bank of Somalia duties include:
- Install and maintain all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage.
- Work closely with system administrator to facilitate in trouble shooting issues and errors in the application.
- Work with system Vendor regarding the implementation of application upgrades as well as database updates and upgrades
- Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database.
- Plan and implement backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
- Plan implement DR server to insure loosing data it at minimal or none.
- Implement and enforce security for all of the Oracle Databases.
- Implement database Health check scripts and review them in hourly manner.
- Do monthly Database Restore operation to ensure the validity of backup files.
- Perform database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.
- Troubleshoot problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
- Create new database users as required.

I have also implemented small SMS application that reads the SMS messages from specific table, this application utilizes OracleDependeny and sends the messages through API over the internet.
