Currently working with Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP) Core Office Gilgit as Management Information System (MIS) Coordinator. AKRSP is part of Aga Khan Development Network, working for the economic uplift of the poor masses, through empowerment, resource management and social organization.

Job Purpose:
Establishing and maintaining a central database Monitoring Evaluation & Learning Database (MELD) meeting MER’s data requirements and making it fully functional in Core and all regional offices of AKRSP.

Responsibilities:
• Taking lead role in reviewing internal capacities and competencies required to successfully customizing MELD in consultation with MER staff
• Understanding and identifying gaps between the AKRSP’s MER requirements and MELD functionalities and processes, and rectifying those gaps to make MELD fully compatible.
• MELD Software Packages improvement and trouble shooting in coordination with the MFSys as and when needed.
• Addressing MER’s data requirements, taking lead role in centralizing database in Core and regional offices.
• Scanning and assessing the quality of existing procedures adopted for collecting, organizing and documenting data within the system and suggest improvements or modifications.
• Provide training and technical assistance as and when needed to all regional and core-based MIS Officers, Field staff and AKRSP management on MIS-MELD
• Help in developing databases for all the baseline and impact surveys, data analysis and reports drawn from the surveys as and when needed.
• Incorporate all the selected projects/ programs of AKRSP into MELD for M&E automation

Aga Khan Health Service Pakistan

Health Management System Officer

2010/12～ 2012/03

Worked with US funded project “Chitral Child Survival Program-CCSP” in Aga Khan Health Service Pakistan Chitral as a Health Management Information System (HMIS) Officer.

Responsibilities were:
o Handling the MIS section and reporting to Manager M&E Chitral Child Survival Program (CCSP)
o CCSP focused on reducing Maternal and Neonatal death in different areas of Chitral. There were 28 Community midwifes (CMWs) who were providing services to the community under CCSP project. I was responsible to manage the data (Maternal Health Card, Tally Sheet, Quarterly reporting format) of the 28 areas in an automated database, generate reports and submitted on quarterly basis.
o Generate GIS map ArcGIS 9.2 to show the progress made through those activities
o Organize and manage different workshops, seminars and trainings.
