PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE AND ACHIEVEMENTS

My Goal: Become a leading Financial Professional by substantial contribution through my academic, professional & personal expertise.

Brief Description: Currently I am working as Head of Risk Management of the SLS Bank; I am instrumental in establishing Risk Management Division of the Bank through formulating Policies, Procedures and Risk Management Frame Works of the Bank on Credit, Market and Operational Risk Management. I have eighteen years of total executive and managerial experience in Banking, Risk Management, Finance and Research with post graduate qualification in Economics, Statistics and Accounting. The major strengths that I possessed are my strong academic and professional competencies with well-built experience in the banking and finance. I started my career at State Bank of India as a graduate trainee in 2000. At State Bank, I was able to cover Credits and Foreign Currency Banking Operations and for two years. From 2003, my experience was extended to Corporate Planning, Annual Budgeting, Performance Management, Research, Risk Management and Treasury Middle Office Functions at Seylan Bank Head Office.

Designed Balanced Score Cards for SBUs and Cost Center of the Seylan Bank, Excel Based Competitor Analyst System, Budget Forecast Model (Automated Input Out-put Forecasting model), and Designed of Fund Transfer Pricing Mechanism (FTP) for Bank, and Write-up for Annual Reports & Prospectus of Bank.
