I work as Gemologist currently in Pakistan Gems & Jewelry Training & Manufacturing Center, Saddar Karachi since November, 2016. My job is certification of gemstones and teaching the subjecting of gemology to students doing diploma in gemstone identification. My main job is to differentiate natural and synthetic gemstones and also to check whether any sort of treatment like heat treatment, glass filing, dyeing, laser drilling, waxing and diffusion treatments have been done or not to a gemstone.
