• Plan and implement all organization supported activities
• Participate in all polio related meetings in the selected districts.
• Work in close cooperation with the district field staff and ensure that the Polio teams meetings take place regularly and all important actions are taken.
• Make sure right information is collected and used for decision making.
• Motivate local religious leaders and clerics.
• Work with traditional leaders and other partners (especially UNICEF and WHO) to ensure that funds and logistics are available in time the micro-plans are completed, correct vaccinator teams are deployed and ensure missed children/areas covered.
• Maintain regular communication with the DHOs, District Representatives of Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) and Program Manager at Provincial level for achieving specified targets in the selected remote areas.
• Get in touch with social mobilization teams to ensure the record of refusal cases and devise appropriate strategies to resolve the cases through effective mobilization methods.
• Supervise the daily immunization campaign by ensuring that necessary arrangements are being made and each team has given its targets, resources and other field related objects.
• Ensure the maintenance of vaccine cold-chain and supply-management systems within each district
• Organize Staff Training and replacing outdated and broken equipment down to concern department.
• Responsible for managing field office resources, ensuring value for money and in accordance with Organization policies and procedures; monitor and control the budgetary allocation and resource management through regular reviews.
• Coordinate with the district and local authorities, target communities/beneficiaries, and relevant partners, especially field staff in the implementation of activities and monitoring of progress against approved work plans as per standards set by the management.
• Document and submit human interest stories, case studies, success stories, lessons learnt of activities under the project.
• Lead the baseline, end line and other impact and technical studies.
• Supervise all activities and ensure beneficiaries list are prepared according to the work plan;
• Design and implement a quality assurance system to ensure quality in the process of project implementation and the project's outputs.
• Submit timely monthly and quarterly progress reports.
• Report any security-related matter that affect the field team and project implementation to the Security Focal Points in district and province..
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
