PROJECTS DESCRIPTION

PROJECT 1
Safeway - 2040 EWMS Enterprise Warehouse Management System
Duration: Dec 2011 –July 2013
Role : Developer

This project primarily deals with receiving and fulfilling orders from stores to warehouses. There are various processes involved in this including pricing, billing, invoicing, shipping, routing, slotting, quantity rounding, etc. Majority of the application is on CICS (both screen and screen-less) and has a relatively small batch part.

The scope of the changes was to introduce a new vendor based warehouse management system in place of the existing, in house application to improve the functionalities, scalability and to provide a standard WMS across the application.

Responsibilities:
 Creating corresponding changes in the application to migrate the Canadian warehouses in phased manner.
 Involved in functional testing as well as regression testing after completion of coding as per requirements
 Unit testing of the components after making the changes as per the requirements
 Proper documentation including creation of Unit Test Plans and Unit Test Reports
 Participated in various meetings and discussed the progress of the project
 Strictly adhere to the process management

PROJECT 2
Safeway - 12892 Hyperion SYS 11 Infrastructure Build
Role : Developer
A set of Lawson Essbase Extract Files created in Mainframe were initially transferred from production to System 7 servers through PM4data jobs. The project involved modifying the set of jobs to copy these extracted files to one more new location i.e. to System 11 server (Server Name ‘phcgpr2c’).

Responsibilities:
 Impact Analysis on the existing code
 Code changes to the existing code
 Preparing the Unit Test Plan(s) as well as Unit Test Reports after making the required changes
 Unit testing of the components after making the changes as per the requirements
 Was involved in 2 week support when all the components were deployed in production.
 Periodic reporting to Team Leader updating the status.

PROJECT 3

Safeway - 14631 Vons ROG for Fresno Stores

Duration : January 2014 till date

Role : Developer

There are seven Vons division stores in central California that are currently supplied out of the

Vons Southern California DCs, Milk & Bread plants. These stores are located in the Fresno area –

five of these stores are in Fresno, one in Oakhurst and one in Clovis. Main objective of this

proposed project is to change the Source of Supply for a group of Vons division stores from the
Vons DCs/Plants to the NorCal DCs/Plants

Responsibilities:

 Studying the impact of the new requirement on the existing code and hence create a high level

design document on the basis of the analysis

 Code changes in the existing components based on the high level design

 Participated in various meetings and discussed the progress of the project

 Strictly adhere to the process management
