Financial Management Expert

 Accountable for:
– Contributing to the financial aspects of contractors as well as periodic earned value assessments pertaining to their financial management
– Providing trainings and technical assistance on compliant financial management in order to create appropriate systems for proper financial management of contractors
– Ensuring projects financial activities are aligned to Nepal Government and donor agency
– Preparation, development, maintenance and use of accounting database system
– Maintenance of all transactions and procurement records of the project
– Support to contractors to reconcile the payment
 Analyzing financial records and reports and make adjustments as needed
 Guiding bookkeepers, coordinators, principals and administrators on day-to-day financial matters
 Assisting internal and external auditors in analysis work
 Finding deviations and errors, correcting entries, allocating expenditures, indirect costs
 Handling the preparation of:
– Financial forecast and cash budget report, prepare budget versus expenditure statement
– Report against the external auditor note
– Finance Report
– Cash flow & fund flow statement
– Inventory status report
– Fixed asset register
– Payroll sheet including leave & final settlement for employees
 Analyzing, advising and recommending for:
– Disbursement tracking and expediting payments suppliers, contractors, consultants and other
– Preparation and submission of payment invoices for the purpose of disbursement
