Graduate of Science in University of Ruhuna, Matara. Achieved a second class (lower division) in BSc Fisheries and marine sciences and specialized in Limnology and Water Technology. Main subjects were Limnology and Water Technology, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Oceanography and Marine Geology. G.C.E. A/L 2011 in biological science stream with 2’B’s and 1’C and G.C.E. O/L 2007 with 7’A’s and 3’B’s at R/Eheliyagoda National School. Completed intermediate spoken English course and upper intermediate English I and II courses in British Council, Colombo and passed UTEL (University Test of English Language) which is conducted by Ministry of Higher Education with the support of The World Bank. Completed a computer course in Open University of Sri Lanka and have an excellent knowledge of Windows Office. Final year research project was based on Influence of stream characteristics on benthic algae in Gong Gawwa ela stream in Kottawa forest reserve under the supervision of Dr. H.B. Asanthi and Dr. T.G. Dayananda and with the support of Department of Forestry. Three months training period at Central Environmental Authority.
