At TBA i developed in 9 years a tool named Graphical Terminal Editor which can be used to create the layout for a container terminal.
Those layouts are used for simulation which helps as container terminal for optimization, to get a higher productivity.
The tool was developed on Eclipse RCP platform and I used the following libraries: SWT, JFACE, DOM4J, GUAVA.
In time i developed several small frameworks:
- a framework to arhive a MYSQL database into a file, and to recover the database from the file
- a framework to allow drawing of multiple types of objects on a SWT canvas, on different layers
- a framework for SWT virtual tables, very easily to use, which can hold millions of records with a good performance
- a SWT framework for editable tables, very flexible, very easy to use
- a framework to generate 2D and 3D mesh files based on a layout as input (provided by GTE)
- a framework to generate an AutoCAD file based on a layout created in a tool developed by me (GTE) in the company where I’m working
