Translator (Traditional Chinese - Taiwan)

Provide translation (English to Tranditional Chinese – Taiwan) to all brands under Expedia.Inc. in all different content. When my target language is Traditional Chinese – Taiwan, I also need to be very sensitive to the culture and language differences from my locale and other Chinese locale (Traditional Chinese – Hong Kong and Simplified Chinese – China), in case to provide the best localization version for all contents.

• Coordinate with localization Project Managers to deliver translation for all brands.
• Translation content including, but not limited to, UI, email templates, marketing solutions, social media posting, terms and conditions, campaign post, travel video subtitles, hotel special check-in instructions, etc.
• QA vendor's translation for content mentioned above if we ever outsourced any.
• QA vendor's work on SEM keywords.
• Attend website bug bash and audit and provide suggestions for content or any localization related issue.
• Maintain translation memory.
• Edit translation style guide for different project from each brands.
• Be very self-driven to meet the productivity every day on both words and hour count.
• Pay attention to details, make sure all translations comes in the correct format and consistent with the brand’s tone of voice.
• Manage to meet 100% productivity in both words count and working hours every day. (I have an average of over 100% for the past years)
