Alex Jhon - An English and Applied Linguistics graduateDuration to complete job7daysDesired remuneration price50,000 yen to 100,000 yenI received my Master degree from UNIKA Atmajaya in Applied Linguistics and my Bachelor degree from BINUS University in English Literature. Recently, I am being employed by BINUS University as a Lecturer Specialist (per April 2015) and have been a Lecturer (mostly part-time in the beginning) since 2007-present). I have experience in teaching various subjects such as: Literature Analysis (Poetry, Prose and Drama), Drama Performance, Creative Writing, Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, Listening & Speaking, Adobe Photoshop, TOEFL Preparation, ESP/CLIL.
Beside teaching and doing office job, I have personal interests in cultures, specifically languages such as Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Turkish and currently still learning how to master them all one by one. I also have great interests in theater and creative writing making those areas blended into my daily life. Currently I also do several projects in drama performance such as being a playwright and as an occasional actor. Another hybrid interest that I adore is, the one that integrates technology, culture, psychology, social, and pedagogic fields into one, digital games. For my Master thesis I did a research on how video game assist higher education students to acquire vocabulary in English.
My love for language, theater, culture and video game have brought me to many interesting part-time or seasonal jobs such as Japanese Shokyuu 1 tutor, MC for Japanese Festival, Playwright, Actor, Director, Speaker in Creative Writing and Video Game themes, and many more. In the near future I am open for any projects related to any of these favorable and personal interests of mine.
