Comic story Merit Open tournament

The comic story was created for the Merit Open Casino (North Cyprus) following the world-famous sports backgammon championship, which attracts more than 500 participants from 42 countries.

Comics reveals the real history of the tournament and also a live broadcast of the 4-th Championship of 2016.

The championship is attended by the most famous players in the backgammon and personality, who made a significant contribution to the development of the game throughout the world.

On 28 pages of hand-drawn pictures, 64 characters with a portrait resemblance are imprinted. In the process of working on the story, the author and artist took interviews and made photo-reports of these personalities.

All the words that comic heroes say are real thoughts and statements of real personalities in which they reveal their vision of this unique game and their understanding of game's philosophy.

The main character of this comic strip is a journalist and artist who comes to Cyprus to learn the secret of luck and success.
