Dr. Md. Hemayatul Islam
I am a Deputy Chief Veterinarian in the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University of Rajshahi. I was graduated (DVM) from the Sylhet Agricultural University, with a Master of Science in Obstetrics from University of Rajshahi. In my PhD research I am working with the Zoonotic diseases involved in reproductive disorders in small ruminant. Now I conclude my research and first time report in Bangladesh about Vector born (tick) Zoonotic disease, Q fever in Bangladesh. In my research period I authorized one international Book, 25 full length articles published in National and International Journal. I was attended and presented paper in 13 (thirteen) International conference in home and abroad including Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Singapore and India.
I am successfully completed a zoonotic disease related project ‘Molecular characterization of Toxoplasmosis in Small ruminants’’ funded by Ministry of Science, information and communication Technology, 2014 solely and two project with my supervisor.
I fill better to work together, for that did some research with team and now doing research in a well panel. We were continuing a zoonotic disease awareness project “Control of Rabies through Animal Birth Control (ABC)” in Veterinary Clinic and Artificial Insemination Centre under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, University of Rajshahi.
